In 2003 Gam Bodenhausen and I formed The Skills. From numerous vinyl collections to damp grass in Belgian woods to the vulnerability of a drawing to specialisms in celebrating, constructing, adding, withdrawing, speculating, resisting: once writing became sound that cemented a friendship. The Skills are all about telling short stories! The identity of the narrator shifts in a certain time span: an eternity, a she-beat. See www.the-skills.com for more. Rendez-vous with others include performance, lyrics, bass picking robotics and pure, sodium hypochlorited guitar sounds, which I fell in love with and since then have tried to curl myself around. In these hug-attempts the frictious terror of acknowledging symbolic orders and social codes pierces through.
